"我本来周日要飞深圳（老赵，所以没联系你），临时改了计划没走，结果就赶上了地震。前几日我妈时不时就说“又震了”。我估计是感觉迟钝或者睡得太沉，一次也没有体会到。 昨晚因为跳舞太累，我很早就睡了。迷迷糊糊听见些动静，睁开眼睛发现是小狗艾米莉扒在床边，不停地用爪子挠我。我也没管她，倒头继续睡，那是11点多，后来报了，是3级多..."

"为了等签证，我在成都呆了两天。就这么短的时间里，我已经觉得成都这个地方太适合出诗人了。   底层人民的生活还是很滋润的。我跟我爸可以花三块钱就解决了一顿午饭，喝玉米粥，吃冬菜包（我们叫芽菜包）和麻辣大头菜丝。还没有出名的诗人们大可以填饱肚子（如果他们可以吃辣），不必为生计问题放弃理想。这跟海明威年轻时候窝在巴黎是一个道..."

" 在上海拍街景，照片是分成三段的：上边是灰蒙蒙的天空，跟中国大大小小的城市一样，分不清是浮尘还是别的什么东西。为了明年的世博会，上海在大兴土木，环境显得脏和乱一些。机场高速上沿途都是穿着橙色工作服的修路或者园艺工人，人力在中国还是供应充足的。高架上那些还没有浇上水泥的钢筋，密密得向上生长。整个城市都带着这种勃勃的生气。..."
